SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

Open tender contest for the deliveries of foodstuff for Narvik
municipality (the Awarding Authority).
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Supplies.
Purchase.
Main place of delivery: Narvik, Norway.
II.1.3) The notice involves: The establishment of a framework agreement.
II.1.4) Information on framework agreement: Framework agreement with
several operators.

framework agreement:
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The awarding
authority invites to an open tender contest in connection with the
formation of a framework agreement for foodstuff. The agreement is for up
to 4 years (2+1+1 years). Deadline for receipt of tenders: 3.7.2008. The
awarding authority requests, in accordance with the tender documents,
written tenders for foodstuff divided in the following product groups:
— Groceries.
— Meat.
— Fish.
— Fruits and vegetables.
— Bakery products.
— Milk and dairy products.
— Ice cream.
— Potatoes and root vegetables (fresh and peeled).
At present, the joint kitchen at Furumoen nursing home delivers food to
all institutions in Narvik municipality, except Ellas minne (EM) and
Ankenes Bo- og Servicesenter (ABS).
EM and ABS have own kitchens where food for patients/boarders are made.
The delivery locations will therefore be: Furumoen joint kitchen, Ellas
minne and Ankenes bo- og servicesenter.
