"SEN's offer was evaluated to be the most economically advantageous
tender".
Selected tender was evaluated to be the collectively best tender based on
quality, environment and price. The difference in quality between the
selected tender and the secon best tender was minimal, and therefore can
well be seen as similar quality. Several tenders also met the requirements
to the environment very well. The difference in price between the selected
tender and the other tenders was clear, and this criteria was the deciding
factor for the award.
There is no reason not to to award the contract to other tenderers.
There is no visible difference in quality in the other tenders which would
outweigh the price difference.
We therefore conclude that Sharp Electronics Norge has the most
economically advantageous tender".
The financial value of the selected tender comprises 20 prices for up to
20 models. These have been turned into a score that is given in this
notice.
Those with an interest in, and who require insight into the selection can
receive extracts from the scoring form. The real value of the contract
depends upon requirements, as described in the tender documents. Further
speculation into the contract value is meaningless because it is based
upon random numbers.
The interesting factor is that the selected tenderer submitted the best
tender based upon price, and therefore had the most economically
advantageous tender for the awarding authority.
The purchasing authority is acting on behalf of the following
organisations:
Ålesund Municipality is procuring on behalf of Sunnmøre Procurement
Co-operation comprising: Ålesund, Giske, Vestnes, Sula, Skodje, Ørskog,
