Bitterroot National Forest, Thinning and TSI IDIQ. This contract is for thinning and timber stand improvement and related work. It is a Performance-Based, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base and 2 (two) option years. Minimum guarantee to the Contractor is $15,000.00 of services per year for each base or option year exercised in accordance with the terms of the contract. Maximum quantity of services not to exceed $1,000,000.00 total accumulation of all services performed under the contract. The yearly maximum will be stated in the solicitation. Acres to be treated each year will be described in the solicitation. Work will be ordered by the Government by issuance of task orders which will outline specific treatments for the units. The solicitation will be posted on the FBO website on approximately June 3, 2008. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held starting at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Bitterroot National Forest Supervisor's Office at 801 N. First Street, Hamilton, MT 59840. The meeting will commence at the office and interested contractors will have the opportunity to join Forest Service representatives for a field visit to facilitate discussion regarding work under the contract. If you will attend the site visit, you will be required to provide your own transportation and safety equipment (i.e. hardhat, etc.) Please RSVP with Contracting Officer Loren Ebner by no later than July 11, 2008 if you plan to attend the pre-proposal conference.
