This is a combination of three timber stand improvement projects consisting of 310 acres of hardwood thinning with chainsaws; 203 acres of pine release with chainsaw or brush axe and 89 acres of pine thinning with chainsaw. The projects are in Laurel, Pulaski, Rockcastle and Whitley Counties on the London Ranger District, London KY of the Daniel Boone National Forest. One or more awards may be made. All inquiries are to be directed to the Contracting Officer at (618) 253-7114. Solicitations are to be mailed to USDA Forest Service, Shawnee National Forest, 50 Hwy 145 South, Harrisburg IL 62946. Bid Packages will be posted on Fed Biz Ops by June 2, 2008.
