The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, is soliciting proposals for Simplified Acquisition of Engineering Services for our Albuquerque Area Office. The principle features of the work may include excavating and trucking/hauling various materials, willow pole cutting and planting, fencing (barbed, smooth, V-mesh, chain link, and hog wire), mulching various types of vegetation, operating and maintaining pumping stations, modifying and/or removal of existing structures, and miscellaneous jobs as required. Work is limited to areas within the jurisdiction of the Albuquerque Area Office, which includes portions of the States of Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a base period and four option years. Task orders awarded under the contract will be firm fixed priced. The work will be performed under NAICS Code 237990 Construction of Other non-Building Facilities with a size standard of $31.0M. The solicitation will be issued approximately June 10, 2008. The Request for Proposal and amendments, if issued will only be available online. Interested vendors can download the solicitation via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov). The due date for the proposal will be stated in the solicitation. Requests for solicitation documents by telephone, fax or email will not be honored. The Government intends to make award to the offeror that represents the best value to the Government, price and non-price factors considered. Instructions and evaluation factors will be provided in the solicitation. Prospective vendors must register in CCR prior to the award of a contract.
