Sealed tenders on B-1 form for the following works mentioned below are invited from the pre-qualified contractors/ firms of City District Government Karachi, Works and Services Department for the year 2007-08 as per PPRA Ordinance. Tender documents will be issued on production of copy of Registration Certificate of Pakistan Engineering Council, duly renewed for the current year.
The application for purchase of tender documents should accompany 2% earnest money of the estimated cost as mentioned against each in shape of pay order or call deposit from any scheduled bank, duly pledged to the undersigned.
The estimate, drawing, design and specification can be seen on any working day during the office hours.
Blank tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on payment of cost of tender (non-refundable) as mentioned against each on any working day during the office hours up to 24.05.2008. The same will be received back in sealed cover up to 12.00 noon on 27.05.2008 and the same will be opened on the same day at 2.00 p.m. in presence of the intending contractors or their authorized representatives who may like to be present. The un-responded tenders will be issued up to 02.06.2008 and opened on 04.06.2008.
Conditional tenders will not be accepted and the competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
The successful contractors, whose tenders are accepted, will have to obtain adhesive stamps from Assistant Superintendent Stamps, Government of Sindh, Karachi on payment for stamps according to schedule prescribed in the Sixth Finance Act 1996 amended the 2003 and sign the agreement.
