aimed at providing assistance for the organisation of training activities
on the EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) and the possible
introduction of a similar system in other regions of the world as well as
on other EU related information technology systems.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The tender covers the organisation and
implementation of 2 training activities:
— 4 3-day workshops, to be held in South Africa, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and
Italy (60 participants each) aimed at providing a detailed overview and
explanation of the EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed,
— sustained training and technical assistance mission of approximately 350
working days in a maximum of 12 selected third countries aimed at
supporting the competent authorities in selected third countries in the
field covered by this tender, mainly RASFF, TRACES and other EU related
information technology systems.
Estimated value excluding VAT: EUR 1 100 000.
