The Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC)Acquisition Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 intends to issue aRequest for Quotation (RFQ) to provide Video Teleconference Communications(VTC) support services for the Program Manager for Future Combat Systems Brigade Combat Team (PM FCS (BCT)) at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. PM FCS (BCT) isresponsible for the Warfighter Integrated Product Team (IPT) and multipleManned Ground Vehicle (MGV) variants and their associated ComplimentaryPrograms. With Government and Industry partners located throughout the UnitedStates, the need for Video Teleconference (VTC) Systems is essential. Inorder to support operations, PM FCS (BCT) has eleven (11) offices/conferencerooms with various VTC configurations. The systems are comprised of standardcommercial items custom configured for the PMs needs. The bulk of this effortwill require Technical Support Services for Video Teleconference Systemslocated in Bldg. 171, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The type of contractcontemplated is a new firm-fixed price commercial award with the other thanfull and open competition strategy being a sole-source award to York TelecomCorporation, 81 Corbett Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724-2264. The basic contract isplanned for award in July 2008. The requirement will consist of a base periodof ten (10) months and one (1) option period of twelve (12) months. It isanticipated that this solicitation will be posted on the US ARMY JM&L LCMCProcurement Network website located at http://procnet.pica.army.mil on orabout June 3,2008.
