Project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary in accordance with the plans and specifications for the removal of an existing 65 foot long by eight foot wide boat dock pier and construction of a new 65 foot long by eight foot wide, steel sheetpile boat dock pier. Work includes mobilization, demobilization, site preparation, cofferdam construction, dredging, demolition and removal of the existing structure, debris disposal, excavation, falsework construction, installing steel sheeting and whalers, backfilling and grouting fill material, all reinforced concrete work and installation of miscellaneous metal mooring attachments necessary to construct the project located at the Huron Islands Wilderness Area, Huron Island, Michigan.Estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 237990. The small business size standard is $31.0 million.This site is quite remote and access is by boat only. It is intended that all facilities required for this project will be located on floating plant provided by the Contractor. This procurement is 100% set aside for Certified HUB Zone Business only in accordance with FAR 19.1305.This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a solicitation.
