The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Lee, Virginia, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 11704-0025-08 for the provision of Construction and Installation of three (3) non-potable water wells near garden located next to the Federal Prison Camp, located in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Well to be drilled and fully cased with locks. Water rate of 20 gallons per minute and installation of 60 Hz High capacity, 4" submersible pump. Contractor to ensure all debris is removed from well-drilling area. Contractor responsible for all well licensing and permits required for drilling. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the drilling well and installation of pumps. The solicitation will be available on or about May 28, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
