Reference: S5105A-08-T-0005 - Information Technology Leadership Program

 In accordance with FAR subpart 13.106(b) (1), the Department of Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Santa Clara University in to amount of $97,988.00 under NAICS: 611310 - Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools for DCMA Information Technology Leadership Program Level III (ITLP).  Santa Clara University will provide training courses to senior information systems (IS) professionals that allow them to develop the necessary skills to be successful in their job and advance their career opportunities.

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(2) Santa Clara University is the only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the DCMA's requirement.  The course curriculum was developed specifically for DCMA-IT personnel through the unique partnership from both Santa Clara University and the Leavey School of Business. This training was designed and tailored to meet DCMA-IT's goal of providing leadership courses to IT senior personnel.  It would be costly and untimely to the Government to solicit another source to develop and deliver specific training program at this time. 

This is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who feel that they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Documentation should be received within ten (10) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by DCMA. A determination by the DCMA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
