The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring SANITARY AND STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION SERVICES to be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT for a base plus nine option periods, not to exceed 60 months, if exercised by the Government, beginning October 1, 2008. The contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, management, supervision, labor, equipment and supplies necessary to clean and inspect sanitary sewer manholes, storm drainage manholes, grease traps, outdoor drains and storm drainage catch basins located at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. The intent of the contract is to conduct maintenance to ensure that the sanitary and storm drainage systems are clean and clear. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A firm-fixed price services type contract with a requirement sections will be awarded. The Base Period of performance will be from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 with nine one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government, for total contract duration not to exceed 10 years/120 months. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business Concerns only. The applicable NAICS code is 562998 (All other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services) with a size standard of $6.5 million.
