LAND ADMINISTRATION PROJECT

SUPPLY OF COMPUTERS AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF STAGE ONE OF THE LAND INFORMATION SYSTEM

1. The Government of the Republic of Ghana has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Land Administration Project (LAP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for IFB № ICB/LAP/004/2008. Bidding will be governed by the World Bank’s eligibility rules and procedures.

2. The Ministry of Lands And Forestry now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of the under listed items for the Supply of Computers & Accessories for the development of Stage 1 of the Land Information System.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Lands and Forestry and inspect the bidding documents at the address and location given in paragraph 7 below from 8.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m local time during week days starting from Monday May 19, 2008

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of one hundred United States Dollars (US$100.00) or one hundred and fifty United States Dollars (US$150.00) including courier services or its equivalent in any freely convertible currencies. The method of payment will be by cash, cashier’s cheque, or Bank Draft to Ministry of Lands and Forestry. The document will be obtained personally or sent by courier services.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10.00 a.m. local time on Friday June 27, 2008. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the total Bid Price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room at the Location indicated below at 10.00 a.m. on Friday June 27, 2008.
