1- The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADD) towards the cost of Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Programme. A part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the A DB.
2 The National Transmission and Dispatch Company, NTDC ("the Employer") invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for civil works, erection, testing and commissioning of extension works at 500kV grid stations Tarbela and Sheikh Muhammadi Peshawar. The bidder may bid for any number of lots.
3 Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: " A l least 5 years experience of construction, erection, testing and commissioning of 220 kV or higher voltage Grid Stations. " I he contractor should have sound financial status. The difference between cash in hand anil short term liabilities should be adequate enough for smooth execution of this project. ¦ Should have Qualified Civil and Electrical Engineers along with Finance Managers.

Or US$ 100/- by Bank Draft
from any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan or a reputable foreign Bank under written by any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan in favour of Chief Engineer (EHV -1) NTDC, 34-lndustrial Area, Gulberg-lll, Lahore, Pakistan. The documents may be collected in person or may be
sent by express airmail. For an additional fee of Rs. 3,000/- for domestic delivery or USS 50 for overseas deliver)', the documents may be sent through courier service, in such a case no liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
