Sealed tenders are invited from the sole distributors/authorized dealers registered with Sales Tax Department having NTN number for selection of vendor and approval of rates for the supply of following computer and equipment during financial year 2007-2008 on the terms and conditions given here under.
Terms & Conditions :- Separate sealed tender for each category of items should be submitted and category should clearly be written on the envelope.
The rates inclusive of all the taxes should be offered on per unit basis.
A Postal draft/Bank draft @ Rs 3% of total amount as an earnest money in favor of the Postmaster General AJK, NA & FC, Islamabad should be attached otherwise the tender will not be accepted. Bank Cheques are not acceptable.
Earnest money of the successful vendor will be retained by the department as performance guarantee and will be released on expiry of warranty period of all the supplies made by the vendor.
The quoted prices should remain valid for financial year 2007-2008.
At least three years comprehensive onsite warranty (labour and parts) for Computers and 1 year comprehensive warranty (labour and parts) for Printers / UPS etc are required.
The successful vendor should furnish a certificate from the manufacturers that the approved equipment is in production, new and not refurbished / reconditioned.
The equipment delivery at locations (detail is in tender document) will be the responsibility of the vendor within 2 weeks from issuance of work order, otherwise work order will be cancelled and earnest money of the vendor will be confiscated.
Vendor should avoid offering various options / alternate / models in the bids. Only one make / model of items strictly confirming the requirements / specifications should be quoted otherwise whole bid will be rejected.
Department reserve the right to change the quantity of the items mentioned in the tender at any stage.
Properly sealed tenders should reach the undersigned by 15-05-2008 at 11:00 hrs which will be opened on the same date at 11:30 hrs. The Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders or a part of the tender without assigning any reason or to relax or tight the terms and conditions at any stage.
