The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the provision of Vocational Courses Training Program at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Three Rivers, Texas. The Vocational Courses Training Program shall consist of Horticulture, Heating/Air Conditioning, Carpentry, Wastewater Treatment, and Commercial Housekeeping. The Vocational Program should focus on providing inmates with basic knowledge and skills, including an understanding of techniques and principles. The Contractor must be listed in the directory titled Accreditation Institutions of Post Secondary Education published in the American Council on Post Secondary Accreditation (COPA). All Contractor staff assigned to provide instructional services as part of this contract, must be certified in the general field of post secondary education with certification in their area of expertise. A session is defined as 8 weeks per subject per class. It is estimated the contract will include 60 sessions at 15 hours per week per session per contract year. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base year, with the possibility of four (4) 12 month option years. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about May 20, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about June 17, 2008. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611210. The solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote.
