Invitation to Apply for Eligibility and to Bid

The MIAA, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) Php 14,264,906.50
Contract Duration/Completion within ninety (90) calendar days starting on the 11th day
after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed from the MIAA.

Prospective contractors should possess a valid Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) License, had undertaken a similar project with an amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC of the project for bidding. Pre-qualification forms and a list of eligibility requirements can be obtained upon submission of Letters of Intent, from the BAC Secretariat, 4th floor, MIAA Administration Building, MIA Road, Pasay City from May 19 to 26, 2008 between 8:00 to 5:00 PM.

Duly accomplished Eligibility Documents must be submitted to the BAC Secretariat not later than 4:00 PM, on May 28, 2008. Applications for eligibility will be evaluated on a "pass/fail" basis. Only Bidders passing the eligibility check will be allowed to purchase the Bidding Documents, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred (P16,500), VAT inclusive, starting May 30, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement & Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R. A. No. 9184 and its Implementing Rules & Regulations.

Other schedule of activities are as follows:

1. Pre-Bid Conference - June 4, 2008
2. Submission & Receipt of Bids - June 18, 2008

The MIAA reserves the right to accept reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject any Bid at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
