This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to repair Racine Harbor Reef Light, Kenosha, WI. Major work items include: Removal of existing structure, rock relocation from timber crib foundation, demolition and removal of upper concrete deck, installation of sheet piling, connection of tie rods, placement of crushed concrete (supplemented with clean stone fill), fabrication and installation of main deck access ladder from steel angle and bard steel, formation of tower base, installation of welded wire fabric, placement of concrete over entire foundation to form new deck, fabrication and installation of navigational aid tower, and, installation of government furnished equipment. The NAICS for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $31.0M. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland no later than May14, 2008. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at patricia.j.korenchen@uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278/6277. Responses shall include the following information: Reference number HSCG83-08-B-3WT263, Company name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address; business size (large/small), disadvantaged, 8(a), or HUBZone status; and, Evidence that the contractor has performed similar projects (past performance history). This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
