The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition to provide personnel, equipment, and all necessary materials for Washer and Dryer Lease, Maintenance, and Repair services for approximately 613 Washers, 306 Gas Dryers, 91 Electric Dryers, and 157 Stackable Gas Dryers, at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. Contractor will be responsible for the delivery, installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, removal, and relocation of contractor furnished washers and dryers.
Also, the contractor will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of one washer-extractor and one tumbler dryer, which are government furnished property.

This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns.

The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 532210. The size standard is $6.5 million.

The projected basic performance period is 1 August 2008 through 30 September 2008, plus three one-year option periods.

The Government reserves its right to unilaterally exercise any/all remaining options for six-month option periods in lieu of the twelve-month option periods as a result of subsequent OMB A-76 actions.

The solicitation will be released approximately 30 May 2008.
