BELLEVILLE-HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ABATEMENT

Project Description: Project Number R.012434.002, Designated and
Hazardous Materials Abatement and Remediation, Government of
Canada Building, 11 Station Street, Belleville, Ontario.

SCOPE OF WORK: Work on this contract basically comprises of,
but not limited to asbestos & PCB abatement, removal of light
fixtures & ballasts; ceiling tiles; hydronic pipe insulation
with reinstating of sprayed fire proofing on steel beams &
columns.

COMPLETION OF WORK:
All work shall be performed and completed within Ten (10)
weeks of contract award.

The estimated cost falls within the range of $300,001.00. to
$500,000.00.

Security clearance is required. Allow two (2) weeks for
processing of security clearance.
Any worker who is unable to obtain security clearance or who
refuses to consent to security checks, shall not be permitted to
work on site.

SITE VISIT:
An Optional site visit will be held on May 14, 2008 at 10:30
a.m. Bidders are to meet at the site located at the Government
of Canada Building (GOCB), 11 Station Street, Belleville,
Ontario.

provide the names of all attendees, attending the site visit, to
the Contracting Officer Agnes Tavernier at (416) 512-5859 prior
to the site visit

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and
Contract Documents. The Standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services Canada and may be viewed on the
