II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): East Riding of
Yorkshire Council is seeking an organisation, with demonstrable experience
and skills to host the East Riding of Yorkshire Local Involvement Network
(LINK). The host organisation will be responsible for the establishment,
maintenance and support of the LINK to carry out the following activities:
1) promoting and supporting the involvement of people in the
commissioning, provision and scrutiny of local health and social care
services 2) obtaining the views of people about their needs for, and
experiences of, local health and social care services 3) enabling people
to monitor and review the commissioning and provision of care services and
4) making their views known to the people responsible for the
commissioning, providing, managing and scrutinising those services.
