Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property, to install 25 complete cattle guard assemblies on pre-cast concrete bases and construct gates, end panels, and stress panels at each site in accordance with the work data sheet, specifications, and drawings. The Bid Schedule Items are as follows: 1) Barbed Wire Fence, 4-wire, 120 rods; 2) Barbed Wire End Panel, Type II, 40 ea; 3) Barbed Wire Stress Panel, Type II, 20 ea; 4) Barbed Wire Gate, 4 wire, 17 ea; 5) Install Cattle Guard Assembly w/Wings & Bases, 25 ea; 6) Fence Removal, 120 rods This procurement is a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. However, all Small Business concerns are encouraged to respond. If a fair and reasonable quote is NOT received by a responsible and responsive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern, all quotes received from Small Business concerns will be considered without further notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238990. The Small business size standard is $13.0 million. Work under this contract is located in Phillips County, Montana. The contractor will have sixty (60) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about July 21, 2008. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be in the form of one of the following: 1) Irrevocable Letter of Credit; 2) Certificate of Deposit, or 3) Payment Bond. Submission of the payment protection is required within 10 days of notification of award. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Vendor must register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about May 22, 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about June 20, 2008. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. Information on the Site Tour will be posted in the solicitation.
