Assignment Overview
Assignment Title: Pakistan PPPs in Infrastructure
Assignment Country: Pakistan
The World Bank intends to finance the services described below under trust funds.
The services include separate assignments related to: (a) development of the business plan for the proposed Project Development Fund, including the (i) identification of projects for support; (ii) guidelines for project structuring; (iii) rules of business and organizational aspects; (iv) funding sources; (b) the operationalization of the proposed Viability Gap/Subsidy Fund including (i) identification of projects for support; (ii) development of methodologies for proposal assessment (template spreadsheets etc.) as per the guidelines; and (c) guidelines for preparing PPP projects (focusing on environmental and social aspects).
The World Bank now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers January 1997 (revised September 1997, January 1999 and May 2002).

Expressions of interest must be delivered in electronic copy to the address below by May 23, 2008.
