7. SUMMARY OF SCOPE
The scope of the proposed work includes the following:-
i) Extension of the runway by approximately 1,000m (45,000sqm) and reconstruction of the existing 2,000m runway (90,000sq.m), new aircraft parking apron (40,000 sq. m). Pavement in both asphalt concrete (13,125 cu.m) and Cement Concrete (22,400 cu.m).

ii) Construction of a new one storey terminal building (3,000 sq.m). The terminal will be equipped with baggage reclaim belt. Natural ventilation and natural lighting will be applied to the building.

iii) Construction of a new 3,500 sq.m grade vehicle parking.

iv) Construction of new power substation, two guard houses and toll booth

v) New airfield ground lighting including approach lights

vi) Drainage works and other associated infrastrusture for the above
