1.     Title:

Provision of temporary accommodation in the geographic location
defined below for the Government of Canada for delivery of
essential federal services during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and

2.    Background:

The 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Federal Secretariat

Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2010 FS works closely with Vancouver Organizing Committee
for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC), and
with major Games stakeholders, to provide leadership, advice and
secretariat support to interdepartmental and intergovernmental
engagement in 2010 and related initiatives.
Federal involvement in the 2010 Winter Games includes the

such as security, entry of goods and people and public health
and safety. The Federal Government also strives to ensure that
the Games leave sustainable athletic, social, cultural and
economic opportunities and legacies for all Canadians.
