The VISN-10 Contracting Office-Dayton Facility, 4100 W. 3rd St., Dayton, Ohio, 45428 anticipates soliciting sources and subsequently making multiple awards for Painting Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and travel, to perform work under this project. The work will include but not be limited to the preparation and painting of various types of surfaces as well as lead based paint abatement. The location of the work will be at the stations listed below: VA MEDICAL CENTER (BRECKSVILLE), 10000 BRECKSVILLE ROAD, BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 - VA MEDICAL CENTER (CHILLICOTHE), 17273 STATE ROUTE 104, CHILLICOTHE, OH 45601 - VA MEDICAL CENTER (COLUMBUS), 543 TAYLOR AVENUE, CINCINNATI, OH 43203 - VA MEDICAL CENTER (CINCINNATI), 3200 VINE STREET, COLUMBUS, OH 45220 - VA MEDICAL CENTER (DAYTON), 4100 W. 3RD STREET, DAYTON, OH 45428 - VA MEDICAL CENTER (WADE PARK), 10701 EAST BLVD., CLEVELAND, OH 44106. The solicitation will be issued as a "Request for Proposals" conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The anticipated NAICS code is 238320 with a Size Standard of $13 million The solicitation will be a 100% set-aside for SMALL BUSINESS. The solicitation will be issued on or about Monday, May 19, 2008 as a request for proposal and proposals will be due on Wednesday June 18th, 2008 at 3:30PM EDT and should be delivered to Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W. 3rd St. (NBC), Attn: Monae D. Heath, Dayton, OH 45428. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The period of performance shall be within 10 days from the Notice to Proceed issue date.
