The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition to provide personnel, equipment, supervision, laboratory analysis, and other items and services necessary to operate and maintain the Water Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant at Sheppard Air Force Base Recreational Annex located at Lake Texoma in Grayson County, Texas.

This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 221310. The size standard is $6.5 million.

The projected basic performance period is 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009, plus four twelve-month option periods.

The Government reserves its right to unilaterally exercise any/all remaining options for six-month option periods in lieu of the twelve-month option periods as the result of any subsequent OMB A-76 actions.

The solicitation will be released approximately 30 May 08.

Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments.

The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be publicized through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov.

Paper copies of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances.
