works and construction works. Building construction work. Construction
work for buildings relating to leisure, sports, culture,restaurants.
Construction work. Landscaping work for sports grounds and recreational
areas. Erection of railings. Drainage construction works.

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The restoration of Greenhead Park
includes for a range of works, more details of which can be found at
www.kirklees.gov.uk/greenheadpark. In summary, the plans include the
reinstatement of an ornamental lake, installation of around 1 mile of
steel railings and restoration of low boundary wall. Construction of a new
building linked to a Grade 2 listed Conservatory, repair and restoration
of existing buildings, refurbishment of an extensive path network,
improvements to the planting and vegetation in Greenhead park together
with a number of other projects around the park.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 3 500 000 GBP.
