Project consists of constructing a fish passage on National Forest land on the Trinity River Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Trinity County, California. Elements of work include removal of existing culvert, construction of a multi-plate arch with step-beveled ends and concrete footings with cast-in-place concrete slope collars, installation of riprap slope protection, placement of geotextile and spreading and compacting an aggregate course over selected parts of the roadway. Price range is 500,000 to 1,000,000. Estimated start work date is July 15, 2008 with a contract time of 90 calendar days. Solicitation will be request for proposal with both price and technical proposals required. No preproposal meeting will be held. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about May 12, 2008.
