Brigade Training Seminar

Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of
National Defence, 31 Canadian Brigade Group Headquarters located
in London, Ontario for the provision of accommodation, and
training facilities for the period September 19 to 21. 2008.

The facility must provide one bedroom, on-site accommodations
for 75 personnel as detailed in the Requirement attached to the
Request for Proposal. Check in to take place Friday evening
with check out on Sunday.

The requirement also includes a lecture facility consisting of
a large conference room, as well as 10 smaller meeting rooms in
close proximity to the main conference room. Details of these
room requirements are also found within the Requirement attached
to the Request for Proposal.

The facility must have on-site indoor cardiovascular fitness and
weight training equipment, on-site outdoor fitness trail for
morning and evening individual physical training activities by
conference attendees, and an outdoor training area consisting of
a minimum of 2 acres with open, grassed areas for low-impact
training exercises.

There must also be a dedicated accessible outdoor smoking area,
private parking for up to 50 vehicles and access to lounge with
evening hours within the event facility for use on Friday, 19
September and Saturday, 20 September, 2008

Meals are also a requirement of the Request for Proposal and
subsequent Contract. Bidders must provide a menu plan meeting
or exceeding the minimum requirements detailed in the
Requirement attached to the Request for Proposal with their bid.

Signed bids on the Request for Proposal form received from MERX
is the only format that will be considered, and must be
submitted to Public Works and Government Services Canada, 457
Richmond Street 6th Floor, London, Ontario on or before the
closing date and time. Bids received in any other format will be
considered non-responsive.
