The Government of Guyana has received a Grantfrom the International Development Association toward thecost of theHIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Project, and it intends to apply partof the proceeds of this Grant to payments under theContract for the supply and installation of Equipment for hazardous healthcare wastecollection and treatment. 2. The Ministry of Health now invitessealed bids from eligible bidders for, One Compactor, one shredder and one Steam powered Autoclave and one Waste Collection Vehiclefor hazardous healthcare waste collection and Treatment 3. Bidding will be conducted throughthe limited international bidding procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDACredits. The firm offering the lowest overall evaluated price will be chosen. 4. The certified cheque shall be payable to the Health Sector Development Unit. 5. The document will be sent by email to overseas firms. 6.
