II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Housing related
support services for vulnerable homeless adults. The services are split
into 4 contracts as below: - (i) Intensive Services - Southampton Street
(ii) Intensive Services - Jordan House These services will provide a
stable environment and support to manage risks and build on assessments
from the city's emergency hostel. They will be focused, short-term support
services (duration up to 6 months) operating from shared and self
contained units. The services will help people to begin to live in the
most independent way possible. The services will also provide housing
management responsibilities in respect of some of the properties, on a
lease arrangement with a number of housing associations. Landlord agencies
will need to be assured the support agency will be able to manage the
properties to their set standards. (iii) Lifeskills Services- Bellevue
Road (iv) Lifeskills Services - East The services will provide service
users with low levels of housing related support across a range of
accommodation. The focus of the support work will be on enabling service
users to gain lifeskills needed for a move to independent accommodation.
The services will also provide housing management responsibilities in
respect of some of the properties, on a lease arrangement with a number of
housing associations. Landlord agencies will need to be assured the
support agency will be able to manage the properties to their set
standards.
