A valid ISO 9001:2000 certificate for production of IT equipment shall be supplied along with the equipment

1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business of 3 June 2004 and updated on 25 January 2007 and 7 March 2008.

2. The Republic of Armenia has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Public Sector Modernization Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the supply of IT Equipment for introducing Document Tracking System between the Staff of Government, Ministry of Trade and Economic Development (MoTED), Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) of the Republic of Armenia.

3. The Foreign Financing Projects Management Center of the Ministry of Finance and Economy now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supplying the IT Equipment (Lot 1 – Servers (18 sets), computers (375 sets), notebooks (44 sets), monitors (384 sets), scanners (30 sets), printers (45 sets); Lot2 – Network and other equipment) for introducing Document Tracking System between the Staff of Government, Ministry of Trade and Economic Development (MoTED), Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) of the Republic of Armenia

4. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credit dated January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Foreign Financing Projects Management Center of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of RA and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 09.00 AM to 18.00 of local time.

6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee in 50 USD or equivalent in any other convertible
currency. The method of payment will be a transfer of funds to the FFPMC account number specified below. The document will be sent by e-mail.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2 June 2008 at 15:00(local time, GMT +4). All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount equal to 17,000 USD and in the currency of the Bid or in another freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 2 June 2008 at 15.00 (local time, GMT +4).
