MEW/S 502: Mazar-e-Sharif Distribution Rehabilitation Works.
Scope of Contract:
The supply and installation of Plant and Equipment for Mazar-e-Sharif distribution rehabilitation works includes rehabilitation and strengthening of the MV back bone feeder between Grid Substation and Junction Stations. The works broadly include:
o Supply, installation and commissioning of 265 Nos. of indoor / outdoor type three-phase distribution transformers and compact substations of capacities 25, 63, 100, 160, 250, 400 and 630kVA, 20/0.4 kV totaling the installation capacity of 72.613 MVA in the project area;
o Supply, installation and commissioning of 20 nos. three (3) phase 20 kV Ring Main Units;
o Supply, installation and commissioning of 13 nos. panels of metal clad switchgear for one Junction;
o Supply and installation of 330 km of ACSR. The total overhead line route length will be 110 km, comprising three phases of conductors including installation of all necessary accessories;
o Supply and installation of 69 km single core XLPE copper 12/20 kV underground cable ranging from 70, 120, 150 and 240 mm2 including installation of all necessary accessories such as cable terminations, joints etc;
o Supply and installation of LV underground cables and overhead aerial bundled cables together with all accessories totaling 214 km including installation of all necessary accessories;
o Supply and installation of associated protection devices like MV and/or LV switches, circuit breakers, etc;
o Supply and erection of distribution line poles 9m and 12 m length totaling 4,750 nos. for MV / LV overhead lines and installations together with all required materials and equipment, such as fuse cut-outs, surge arresters, insulators and complete with accessories as required for respective installations;
o The scope also includes training for all types of installation, operation and maintenance activities.
