Description

 

REQUIREMENT:  The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 5,746 ANSI/BOMA area square feet of contiguous office and related space, in Ahoskie, NC.  Secured surface parking is required for vehicles.  Requested space must be fully-serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements.  The building must meet Federal Government standards for fire safety, must be ADA compliant and be located outside a 100-year floodplain.  All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration.   Space offered must have potential for efficient layout and be ready for occupancy by September 1, 2009.    Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.   

 

DELINEATED AREA:  Space must be located within the following boundaries:

 

North:   Town Limits at Hertford Country High Rd to Academy St, to NC 581, (First St) to Catherine Creek Rd. 

South:  Town Limits to Ahoskie Creek, to Academy St, to Memorial Drive, to NC 561/US 13 Split

East:    NC 561 (First St.) at Catherine Creek Rd., to Memorial Drive.

West:   Town Limits from Ahoskie Creek, north to Hertford County High Rd.

 

LEASE TERM:  Lease term is fifteen (15) years with a firm term of ten (10) years.

 

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST:  If you desire to submit a location for consideration, please forward information by 5:00 PM EDT, July 3, 2008.  Expressions of interest should include building name and address or map coordinates for proposed tract, legal description, 1/8 inch scale drawing of space offered or site plan, rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included), method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet, and contact information for owner or authorized agent.
