1.The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD Loan No. 4744-IND) in the amount of USD.200 million towards the cost of Second Eastern Indonesia Region Transport Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payment under the Contract for:

Program : The main part of the work from this contract is the Widening & reconstruction by geogrid and geotextile non woven of existing road links Sampit – Samuda, Samuda – Ujung Pandaran for 20.460 km length. Site condition is plantation and flat area.
Minimum Average Annual Turnover (USD) : 7,249,000.00

Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the “Guidelines Procurement under IBRD Loans and International Development Association Credits, May 2004”.

2.The Government of the Republic of Indonesia, Ministry of Public Works, Directorate General of Highways as the owner of the Project, invites all bidders for the works mentioned above with qualification of bidders as stated in the bidding document which can be obtained from the Procurement Committee in the address as stated above. The successful Bidder will be required to satisfy Post Qualification criteria which are included in the Bidding Documents.

3.A complete bidding documents include Post qualification document (and additional copies) may be purchased by interested eligible bidders on submission of written application to the above office and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rp.500,000.00 [Five Hundred Thousand Rupiah] or USD. 56 (Fifty Six US Dollar) for each set from February 26, 2008 up to 24 hours prior to the deadline of the submission of bid, in working hours.
4.Pre-bid Meeting is not held
5.Request for clarification shall be made in writing

6.Last date for submission of Bids, May 22, 2008 at 10.00 WIB and Bid Opening will commence on the same date, time, and address as stated above.

7.Bid shall be valid for a period of 120 (hundred and twenty) days after Bid Opening and must be accompanied by a Bank Guarantee with the amount of Rp. 880,000,000 (Eight hundred and eighty million Rupiah) or USD. 96,800 (Ninety six thousand and eight hundred US Dollar) from the bid.
