required to provide passport application form "Check & Send" and related
services, to members of the public who wish to pay to have their passport
application forms and associated documentation checked for completeness,
prior to onward secure despatch to IPS for processing. The successful
Service Provider in being granted a concession to provide "Check & Send"
services to the public will generate income through charging a handling
fee to those members of the public who wish to buy the service. The
Supplier is required to provide the service on a national basis and
requires a national infrastructure of premises with straight forward
access for all members of the public, which can meet IPS' requirements for
security and handle an annual intake of Check & Send applications in
excess of 250 000. Customer services. Administration services. Government
