Southwestern Power Administration anticipates awarding a fixed-price contract utilizing sealed bidding procedures. For a copy of the solicitation package to be issued on or about February 22, 2008, you must e-mail your request to Ms. Tammy Moreno at tammy.moreno@swpa.gov. DESCRIPTION: Furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, and supervision to perform construction services at the Springfield Operations and Maintenance Buildings for Southwestern Power Administration in Springfield, Missouri as follows: 1. OPERATIONS BULIDING, 1st Floor: Add 2 walls and door with lock at end of main hall on first floor add insulation to pre-existing wall that blocks sound from inside the office remove cubical walls and office furniture already in that area and paint new and existing walls reinstall office furniture. This work shall include all electrical (power and lighting) and HVAC modifications as shown on the drawings. 2. OPERATIONS BULIDING, 2nd Floor: Move one door to existing hallway to accommodate new 10 partial wall with door install folding, sound deadening, double tracked (top and bottom) temporary wall as specified in the contract repair and paint new and existing walls. Install a new wall across the open room extending the existing north/south hallway. This work shall include all electrical (power and lighting) and HVAC modifications as shown on the drawings. 3. MAINTENANCE BUILDING: Remove office furniture on wall between break room and Crew office. Construct a new wall between Crew office and breakroom providing a small alcove to break room. This work shall include all electrical (power and lighting) and HVAC modifications as shown on the drawings. NUMBERED NOTE 1 applies to this solicitation.
