W15QKN-08-R-0334 will replace W15QKN-07-R-0318 Description: The U.S. Army JM&L LCMC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of Mortar Cartridge Metal Outer Shipping/Storage Containers. The required products are rectangular, gasket sealed, outer metal containers for 60mm mortar cartridges. The specific containers required will include the 60mm PA70 and PA124. The 60mm metal containers hold eight (8)rounds. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded using Full and Open Competition. A firm fixed price basic contract with four fixed priced options, including range pricing, is anticipated. The Army will evaluate proposals received based on Best-Value criteria. The estimated maximum quantities,including all options, for is 60mm 94,600. If interested, send requests to the attention of Edward.Gelpke@pica.army.mil. It is expected that the solicitation will be posted on http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about January 31, 2008.
