The Scientific and Technical Enterprise System (STES) application (formerly referred to as the Air Force Material Command (AFMC) Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO)Enterprise Modernization Initiative) is a web-based, transformational technology developed to provide a standardized and comprehensive process solution for all individuals participating in the life cycle of STINFO. The AFMC STINFO mission is to manage command-wide scientific and technical processes and ensure that they are efficient, effective, and protect Air Force STINFO through access control of unfriendly entities, while facilitating the distribution of this information to the widest audience of authorized users.
