1. The Common Data Link (CDL) Program Office, Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, MA seeks information on the development of a CDL Test Set by 15 October 2007. Vendors shall RSVP by 28 Sep 2007 if a face-to-face meeting is requested. a. CDL is the DoD mandated ISR wideband data link and associated family of waveforms used to transmit ISR data from various platforms (air, land, and maritime) to dissemination and exploitation nodes. b. The CDL Test Set will be operated by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) to verify CDL waveform compliance within discrete CDL platform implementations. The CDL Test Set will be used to provide JITC, Platform Developers, and Users with a test environment to perform waveform test confidence checks that address broader CDL interoperability requirements. 2. This Request for Information (RFI) solicits vendor knowledge for the procurement of a Common Data Link Test Set. The CDL Test Set shall verify Standard CDL waveform compliance in accordance with to be released CDL Class I Specification, Revision G, Draft 5. Comprehensive responses to this RFI will enable the CDL Program Office to assess probable costs, schedules, and performance risks that could assist the CDL Community of Interest (COI) determine overall technical complexity and feasibility of procuring a CDL test Set.
