II.8) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Contract InformationThe contract will be for an initial duration of 5 years with an option for the client to extend for a further period of up to 4 years. It is the current intention that tenders will be invited for four lots comprising three geographically based lots (of approximately equal value) and a fourth lot comprising the provision of a city wide call centre. The combined total value of the contract for all lots is estimated to be 200 000 000 GBP with an estimated annual expenditure of 40 000 000 GBP. The Glasgow Houisng Association Limited reserves the right to award more than one contract to meet its requirements. This PIN provides notice of the Contracting Authority's intention to: - A. Issue an OJEU Notice for the works described at Section II.4. B. Conduct Market Sounding with economic operators in advance of the anticipated publication of the OJEU advertisement related to this PIN which is expected to be in 10/2007. It should be noted that neither an expression of interest nor an invitation to participate further in the Market Sounding will have any bearing on the subsequent pre qualification process, which will follow the publication of the OJEU advertisement in relation to this PIN. Market Sounding InformationThe process by which this Market Sounding will be conducted is as follows: - 1) By publication of this PIN, economic operators are asked to express an interest in participating in the Market Sounding. 2) All economic operators who express an interest in participating will be issued with a Market Sounding Questionnaire. 3) The Market Sounding Questionnaire must be completed and submitted electronically by using VAULT through BiPs Delta-ets portal by 17:00 hrs BST Monday 17.9.2007. Glasgow Housing Association will then invite economic operators to participate further in this Market Sounding.
