Expressions of Interest

1. The Government of Grenada (hereinafter called “Government”) has received financing from the Government of Japan’s Poverty Reduction and Human Resource Development (PHRD) Programme (hereinafter called “Trust Fund”) toward the cost of the preparation of the Grenada Skills for Inclusive Growth Project. The Government intends to apply a part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include the carrying out of an Employer’s Needs Assessment Survey. More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference (TOR) which may be requested from the Project Coordinator at the contact information given below.

2. The Project Coordination Unit now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services, relevant experience and competence (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.)

3. A firm will be selected under Selection Based on Consultant’s Qualification in accordance with the policies of the World Bank detailed in the Guidelines - Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004), which can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org/procure. The firm with the most appropriate qualifications and references shall be selected from a shortlist established from respondent firms. The selected firm shall be asked to submit a combined technical-financial proposal and then be invited to negotiate the contract.

4. The deadline for receipt of Expressions of Interest is 4:00 pm on September 13, 2007.
