II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: The Ministry of Justice, subject to the passage into law of the
Offender Management Bill, proposes to procure a service of polygraph
testing of selected sex offenders at locations to be defined in England
and/or Wales for a three year period from mid-2008. While mandatory for
subjects, this will be a pilot scheme with any national roll-out taking
place subsequently, and subject to academic evaluation of the pilot.
Estimated cost excluding VAT:
Range: between 300 000 and 500 000 GBP.
