7. Contract description: The aim of this project is to enable the
government to build an efficient management system designed and operating
to European standards, through the modernisation of budget processes and
increasing capacity for budget management. The project will include:
modernisation of budget preparation process (designing the format of
medium-term budget framework (MTBF), improving the current programme
classification, etc.); improving budget execution system (extension of the
Treasury Single Account (TSA) coverage, improvement of cash planning,
etc.) and training of Ministry of Finance's and line ministries' staff in
budget management areas.
8. Indicative budget: EUR 2 363 400.
9. Intended timing of publication of the procurement notice: August 2007.
