The solicitaition will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 07/25/2007 Research of supplemental records and field investigation as is necessary to conduct the survey. Identification, restoration and monumentation of land and/or property corners involved. Running of necessary lines in order to accurately locate the boundary line of Shenandoah National Park. Installing intervisible monuments along the true line. Blazing of the true line in accordance with enclosed specifications and Sketch #2. Remove old paint and boundary slats where they are not on the true line. Install slats on true line at intervals of about 100 feet. Preparation of survey notebooks and delivery to the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) or the designated representative. Preparation of a survey plat or plats as outlined in Division 240 and submission of the AutoCad drawing data on CD-ROM as well as printed plats on reproducible Mylar drawing film. Contact with local landowners relative to local monuments, corners and conditions. This should be accomplished prior to actual fieldwork. Software used for data collection and all computations to be compatible with AutoCAD LT 2005 use.
