II.3) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND QUANTITY OR VALUE OF SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES: The object of the procurement is to cover the Norwegian
Defence’s requirements for installation services in connection with
start-ups, alterations and repairs of the ICT cable infrastructure for
telecommunication and data purposes. FLO/IKT (the awarding authority) is
the liable provider of ICT services for the Norwegian Defence and has
identical requirements for ICT cable installation as the major network
owners in Norway. FLO/IKT intends to enter into non-exclusive framework
agreement(s) with one or several providers for installations all over
Norway. In addition, the provider shall supply the Norwegian Defence with
the necessary materials for the various assignments. It is required that
the provider has good knowledge of the installation of all types of ICT
cable infrastructure of optical fibre and copper cable, both for internal
and external installations, in addition to use of materials and methods
for these. It will be required that the tenderer is a “Telecommunications
installation contractor TIA”, authorised by The Norwegian Post and
Telecommunications Authority.
