7. Contract description: Recruitment of a technical assistance team for
the Ministry of Vocational Education and Training (MFEP) for the
development of initial apprenticeship training with companies. Its main
tasks are:
(i) to evaluate the method of apprenticeship training and propose a new
strategic approach to the apprenticeship system;
(ii) to draw up a plan to improve skills in various key categories;
(iii) to implement the various training activities both in Algeria and in
Europe for approximately 800 people (including manpower) working in
teaching, technical and administrative fields;
(iv) to devise and set up an integrated national information system and
management and communication tools for the apprenticeship system;
(v) to organise an international seminar on apprenticeship in partnership
with the main socio-economic stakeholders;
(vi) to draw up an apprenticeship charter.
