7. Contract description: The Côte d'Ivoire Government intends to
construct or complete the construction of 69 overpasses throughout the
whole country. Since the 2002 crisis, several construction sites have been
put on hold and this situation renders the road network, on land where
such works are located, virtually impassable. The technical assistance
assigned is subdivided into 2 phases:
(1) updating of existing detailed preliminary studies and preparation of
invitation to tender dossiers in line with EDF regulations;
(2) assignment to oversee the construction of works.
