Consultant Services for Financial Management Services

Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of Indonesia has received a loan, credit and grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)/International Development Assistance (IDA) and The Government of Netherland (GON), and intends to apply part of the proceed of this loan credit and grant to payment under the contract for the following consulting services.

The services included provision of consulting services to support the National Project Management Unit (NPMU) of the WISMP in establishing and maintaining financial accounting and monitoring arrangement for project activities undertaken and expenditure incurred at all project location. The financial accounting and monitoring arrangement will be adequate to facilitate generation of Financial Management Report (FMR) and other financial statement for the project, as required by the Bank/IBRD at such frequency as may be prescribed from time to time. The consultant will be based in Jakarta but will be required for frequent travel to 13 provinces and 70 kabupaten. The first assignment will be two years, and can be extended based on its satisfactory performance and on agreement with the government.

The Directorate General of Water Resources now invites eligible consultant to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultant must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar condition, availability of appropriate skill among staff, etc). Consultant may associate to enhance their qualification.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultant by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised September 1997 and May 2002).

Interest consultant may obtain further information at the address below from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon from Monday to Friday.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by the latest September 1, 2005 at 16.00 p.m.
